Advanced Functional Biomaterials and Bio-Interface Lab

My lab is working on the design, development, and translation of advanced functional biomaterials for next-generation healthcare applications by integrating biomaterials science, nanotechnology, polymer engineering, and microfluidics. Our research focuses on conductive, shape-memory, and smart polymers enabling adaptive and functional biomedical systems. We are also developing electrochemical based biosensors with high sensitivity and selectivity for biomarker detection.
Additionally, we are also working on 3D bioprinting of functional tissue constructs to fabricate biomimetic models for regenerative medicine, disease modeling, and drug screening. Through this interdisciplinary approach, we aim to bridge material innovation with device engineering and clinical translation, advancing precision medicine, decentralized diagnostics, and scalable healthcare solutions.
